
Aneta (Shulankovska) Velkoska

She was born in 1976 in Skopje, Republic of Macedonia. She finishes elementary school at “Grigor Prlichev” and actively participates in several school sections (mathematics, physics…), which shows her attachment to these subjects. Still, her participation in the Macedonian original singing section will be decisive for her further engagements. She finished secondary school of economics in “Arseni Jovkov” (then “Mosha Pijade”). She graduated from the University “St. Cyril and Methodius” – Skopje at the Faculty of Economics, Department of Financial Accounting Management, earning him the graduate economist title. Today, her constant improvement, knowledge, experience, and dedication to work led her to a management position in a renowned Macedonian company.
In 1988, she joined a newly formed vocal group, Detelinki, which nurtured the original Macedonian singing. As a member, she learned the characteristics of Macedonian original singing and presented it at numerous world competitions and festivals.
She has been a vocalist in Synthesis since its inception in 1994. With its vocal capabilities and characteristic and specific voice color, Synthesis gives a specific recognizable mark to traditional native singing.
As a member of the Synthesis group, she has collaborated with world-famous and recognized musicians, musical groups, symphony, and philharmonic orchestras.
