He was born in 1949 in Kumanovo, Republic of Macedonia, where he finished primary education and junior music school (trumpet). At secondary music school, in the class of а professor Ilija Nikolovski – Luj (trumpet), and at FMU, in the class of Emil Klann, he studied percussion. In the early 1970s, he got a job at the MOB. Still, he is also a part-time member of the Macedonian Philharmonic and the Dance Orchestra of MRT. He was a member of the legendary group “Macedonia.” They promote the Macedonian culture around the world. During that period, he received the highest music award, “Entertainer of Yugoslavia,” and later of Macedonia. Radoslav Shutevski – Shute, not only in Macedonia but also much more widely, is a paradigm for a musician and music in total, for a man created to create and perform musical works, for a virtuoso not only on percussion but, literally, on all musical instruments.

In 1987, Shutevski received an invitation from the famous conductor Miljenko Prohaska to play in the Dance Orchestra in Zagreb at the opening of the Universiade, and he was also honored by the renowned management company “Ploner” from Austria to be a member of an international team with which he accompanies the most famous artists throughout Europe and singers from the old continent.

In addition to the group “Macedonia,” the name of Radoslav Shutevski—Shute is unavoidable in the groups “Glaciers,” “Hurricanes,” “Republika 903,” “Bis Bez,” and “Urnebes.” Since the beginning of the eighties, he has been a regular member of the MTV Dance Orchestra. He remained in this house until his retirement. He has been the president of the Pop Artists of the Republic of Macedonia for two terms.

Shutevski’s prosperous musical career reached its highest point in the group Synthesis, of which he is, in fact, the original creator, founder, founder… But what is undoubtedly even more significant is his thirty-year role in the group, or simply, in other words, he is the connective tissue of Synthesis, the person who designed, conceptualized, selected, and brought together musicians and music lovers, kept them in a rarely seen, inseparable togetherness, the result of which, indisputable to anyone, is the musical perfection of the most famous ethnic group in the country – Synthesis.
