
Biljana (Ristovska) Stojanovska

She was born in 1975 in Skopje, Republic of Macedonia. Primary school ends at “Grigor Prlichev. Secondary education at the mathematical high school “Rade Jovcevski – Korchagin”, graduated from the Faculty of Science and Mathematics in Skopje, majoring in teaching mathematics. After graduation, she worked as a mathematics teacher (as a substitute) at OU “Kocho Racin,” OU “Aco Shopov” and “St. Naum Ohridski.” Still, since 2006, he has been in ZAMP – Association for the Protection of Authors Music Rights.
In 1988, she joined a newly formed vocal group, Detelinki, which nurtures traditional Macedonian singing. As a member, she learned the characteristics of Macedonian traditional singing and presented it at numerous world competitions and festivals.
She has been a vocalist in Synthesis since its inception in 1994. With her vocal capabilities and characteristic and specific voice color, Synthesis gives a specific recognizable mark to traditional original singing.
As a member of the Synthesis group, she has collaborated with world-famous and recognized musicians, musical groups, symphony, and philharmonic orchestras.
